Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Filigree & Black Glass Necklace (16 ¾”) & Earring Set, Rare
This is a wonderful, unique Mexican sterling silver and carved black glass necklace and earring set.  The set can be worn year-round as the carvings into the glass are reminiscent of a flower or snowflake pattern which is finished with a silver overlay wash.  Each circle is set in a filigree setting and separated with 4 small beads, giving the entire necklace a delicate look.
The screw back earrings and the 5 black glass pieces on the necklace measure 1 1/8” each.  The back of the necklace and earrings are marked with a crescent containing ‘Sterling, 0925, Mexico’ and the artist’s initials.
All pieces are in very good vintage condition with no loss of the silver wash finish.
