Gorgeous super-rare sugilite set.
Sugilite was discovered in the 1940’s in Japan.
It was placed on the International list of rare stones in 1980
It
is a saturated, purple color and in this case the best purple color available. There’s a trace of black matrix in very thin lines but all in all it looks to be solid purple. What the matrix lines tell you is that it is a natural stone and all of the pieces.
There are 11 oval cabs in the bracelet. They measure 12 x 7.5 x 2.5. For 6.5 ct x 12=78ct.
The earrings and pendant are mounted with square cabs about 14 x 14 mm. For a combined 19.5 ct
