Sterling Silver Puf Kase Art Deco Miniature Portable Powder Puff that would attach to a chatelaine. This is made of sterling silver, gorgeously embellished, and just generally decorative.  Powder is still in the Kase.
The chain was with the powder puff  when I got it but I do not think the chain is original; I think it would have been a shorter chain that would attach to a chatelaine.  During this period most dresses did not have pockets and women did not want to carry a purse so they would attach an assortment of useful items or anything they might want to have handy.
