What to expect for the price.

What to expect for this low price? It's going to need a guitar tech to put better strings and set it up to par. My high E string was cut too short. After a few days, it should acclimate to your homes temp and humidity. Remember, it is a cheap guitar but I honestly think it would be great for a child that insists they want a guitar and in the long run, this Backpacker will be a good way to find out your child's true will. After I set it up, I'd like to add to this review if possible.

I changed the tuners, strings, and put in a pick-up. Ok at that point. Fret ends were smooth and quality Ok for the price. Kind of wish I'd spent more, but then again if it gets destroyed in the car, no big deal.

it's a .10 guitar. i didn't expect much and that's just what i got. keeping it in tune is a constant job. for a mediocre piece of 'wall art' it isn't bad.

For the price it is a great deal. It is a light weight guitar to travel with. No worries if it breaks, etc. It sounds okay, but it is basically a good instrument to practice with and play around with. Once it was adjusted and tuned, it was fine.
