    6.13 INCH REAL MEGALODON SHARK TOOTH - AUTHENTIC NO RESTORATIONS. Condition is "Used" (used by the shark!)
    This is a real, authentic fossilized Megalodon shark tooth personally recovered by my husband or me from the bottom of the ocean while diving approximately 40 miles off the coast of southeastern North Carolina.
    The tooth is estimated to be between 5 and 24 million years old (Miocene era). The type of rock or sediment that the tooth fossilized in determines its color.
    It measures 6.13 inches on one side and 5.81 inches on the other (tip to root). The width at the widest part of the root is 4.54 inches and the tooth weighs 1 lb, 3 ounces.
    The fossil tooth has been cleaned naturally with vinegar and has not been altered in any way (no restorations). Be the 2nd person to touch this magnificent specimen!
    Shipped with "Megalodon - The Prehistoric Shark" story/history printed on card stock paper, with shark tooth symbolism on the back.
