    Description

    Your order will include
    15
shark teeth from Manasota Key which is approximately 6 miles south of Venice "The Shark's Tooth Capital of the World" and
    15
shark teeth from the Peace river, off the beach (diving) and land sites in Southwest Florida. Plus you will receive
    ONE
    FREE
1/2" shark tooth necklace. Your tooth will be wrapped in a silver, gold or copper color wire and a
    FREE
shark tooth guide which will contain a color picture of six different shark teeth with a little information about various sharks.
    We
add a tiny piece of a megalodon shark tooth to each order. Now before you get all excited, know that these are tiny bits and pieces and most if not all, do not resemble a meg tooth. Most of these bits and pieces will be from megs,  but some will be from great white sharks or even mako sharks teeth.  When the pieces are this small it's too hard to know for sure.
The difference between the river teeth and beach teeth is quite dramatic. Beach teeth tend to be smaller and more worn due to the waves and sand. However, they are much more colorful and look like they have been polished. River/land sites teeth are not as colorful as beach teeth but are black, gray, brown and tan in color and do not have the polished look. However, river/land sites teeth are much more defined. Most can still cut you or poke through you skin. Land site teeth look like they just fell out of the shark's mouth as there is no tumbling in the river.
All of these teeth are fossilized and are from the Miocene Epoch (5 million to about 25 million years ago). These teeth are not whole, complete nor are they of jewelry grade. These teeth are those of Hammerhead, Lemon, Tiger, Whaler as well as other sharks. Whaler sharks include Bull, Reef, Dusky, Black Tip and White tip sharks. Whaler shark teeth are difficult to identify as their teeth are very similar to one another. Most people just call them Bull shark teeth. Not every order will contain all of the above mentioned teeth.
    We
    ALWAYS
include bonus a item and since I don't know how to count, there'll
    ALWAYS
be more than 30 teeth. I always add a few extras just in case one or two bad shark teeth slipped by us in the cleaning stage plus because that's the way we do our business.
The above photos are close up stock photos. We try to add a variety of sizes of shark teeth, not all are going to be large and not all are going to be small.
Most shark teeth will be between 1/4" and 1/2"
, some may be larger and some may be smaller. We do our best to include a variety of different shark teeth.
Because this package is an educational tool, we have included some important facts and issues regarding sharks and their importance to all humans on planet earth.
We do not sell or offer white modern shark teeth due to the inhumane way most sharks are harvested. Killing sharks for their fins, jaws and teeth damages the oceans as these predators are extremely important to the ocean's ecosystem.
    We do custom orders.
Shark teeth are NOT toys and may cause injuries as they are sharp enough to poke through your skin or cut you. They may cause dental/internal injuries if consumed.
KEEP OUT OF REACH FROM SMALL CHILDREN.
You can buy with confidence from us as we offer a 100% money back guarantee, including free return shipping on EVERY ITEM we sell.
We are a small mom and pop operation. Because we are retired and this is a hobby, we do not need to count our pennies or shark teeth to make a house or truck payment. This gives us the flexibility to add bonus item/s.
But more than anything, we are wanting to share our passion for the love of sharks and fossilized shark teeth
. We believe in treating our customers right and giving them a great product. I hand pick every order of shark teeth as if they were for our own grandchild. Jeanie and I appreciate you considering our eBay store
