    SC 211910-S - Yamashita's Arraignment - Lt. Gen. Tomoyuki Yamashita, the "Tiger of Malaya," is arraigned before the War Crimes Commission in Manila, pleading "not guilty." He will be confined at the New Bilibid Prison until his trial, October, 29, 1945, in Manila. Here, Gen. Yamashita and his personal interpreter, Masakato Hamamoto, a Harvard graduate, emerges from the ambulance which brought them to the arraignment from Bilibid Prison. 10/8/1945.
